Trif whispered something in Yal’s ear. He proceeded to shout right after, “AH! I GOT SOME IN MY EYE!”

Phize’s attention was caught and so he found his next prey, “GOTCHA!”

    He hurried to him.

He envisioned a plan, “Time to land with water and-”

Oltrin cast a spell, “Surrounding us with a swirl, the living life to all beings, WIND!”

He pointed in Phize’s direction. The wind spell managed to hit him out of balance.

    “CRAP! HE GOT ME AGAIN!”

He viewed his surroundings as he fell, “I need to land safely, QUICK!”

He saw an area of the ring which wasn’t preoccupied with anyone, so he changed his course and headed to it.

    “THERE!”

    He cast a spell, “WATE-”

Trif quickly darted to where Phize was headed.

    Yal chanted, “Levitation.”

    He flew over to him.

“HE’S FLOATING! I HAVE TO LEAVE FAST,” Phize evaluated.

He reached the same height as him and as soon as he did, he flew over to him and attacked with a slash to the right but Phize ducked.

“I can’t… I don’t have much mana left,” Phize thought.

    “WATER!”

A strong wave of water came out of his magic circle. He landed safely with the force of water reducing the impact of the fall.

Yal sped up to him, “I’M COMING, BASTARD!”

He held his sword out and released his spell, causing him to fall.

Horka dashed in with his sword. He set his sights on Phize’s head and attempted to stab him.

Phize moved his head to the left to evade the attack.

    “TIME FOR A COUNTE-”

    Yal chanted, “Lightweight.”

He went down with a downward thrust, however, Phize galloped forward to steer clear of the attack.

Yal landed safely and with no time to spare, he clashed swords with him the moment after.

Phize rolled to the side to dodge, quickly stood up, and kept his composure.

Yal attacked with another downward thust.

The moment it hit the ground, Phize stepped on its edge, preventing him to recover it.

Phize stroked his neck to the right as it happened.

    “ACK!”

    Horka pierced Phize’s abdomen.

    “GYAH!”

Yal lost the grip of his own sword.

In opposition, Phize almost lost his balance but was able to recover, rapidly grabbing the sword and running to a safe area, devoid of any people.

    He knelt for a bit.

He coughed, “DAMN,” and another cough, “IT!”

    Horka ran toward him.

He leered at Horka and rapidly faced him with Yal’s sword in his right arm.

Horka swayed to the left but he threw it outside the ring. Soon after, he cast a spell, “BLINDNESS!”

Successfully hitting its target, Horka’s vision turns pitch black.

He retreated while his sword raised, remaining wary of his opponent. He was looking all over the place. Amidst this dilemma, Yal bolted to Phize instead, with a fist lined up to his face.

He stirred his face to the left and kicked him in the stomach.

Trif was silently overseeing their acts, he was very disappointed by what he saw, “What kind of act is this? Are the both of you letting yourselves be beaten by a single person?”

Yal fell unconscious to the ground.

Horka made an effort to attack him but missed by a meter.

Phize saw Trif and turned his attention to him. While this was all happening, Oltrin, to his right, was frozen in place.

    “Oh? Approaching me?”

Trif latched onto his sword quite securely.

Phize was closing in the distance between them.

When he was within range, Trif let out a downward slash but Phize evasively changed his direction towards Oltrin.

This caught him off-guard, and involuntarily released a left attack lined up at the gut.

Phize went to the right, and he stroked his right hand, which was holding the sword,
    AAAH!!!”

He kicked him, grabbed the sword, and threw it outside.

Behind his back, Trif hit his nape.

    “AH!”

He grabs Phize’s back collar and threw him far away.

    Horka rushed him.

When Horka attacked, he rolled back to evade.

“GATHER HERE!” Trif called out to them.

The three of them retreated and met up with him.

“NOW THAT’S THE SPIRIT! But considering all of that, look at yourself, we were just playing around, yet you all still got hurt. You beat him up, but what happened afterward?”

    Phize was panting heavily, “HEAL!”

Most of his injuries have been healed.

Trif called out to him, “HEY TRASH! DO YOU SERIOUSLY WANT TO GET BEAT UP? WANT US TO GO SERIOUS ON YOU?”

“Don’t mock me, jerk, come at me with full force.”

    “Oh?”

Trif whispered to the three of them.

“This is really bad. I wanted to get rid of their swords, but I got too beat up in the process,” Phize thought.

    He gripped his sword.

“I’m gonna have a real bad time with these 4.”

The four of them finished their meeting.

“Alright, noob, you asked for it,” Trif threatened.

Trif went to the right with his sword upright and Horka did the same in the opposite direction.

Oltrin and Yal are stood still in their positions.

Yal spoke, “You like fire? Then here’s one. FIRE!”

Fire came out of his magic circle and it was headed in Phize’s direction.

Oltrin chanted, “With the guidance of those before me, perform and form an utterly destructive form, Laser Bright!”

    Phize was agitated, “CRAP!”

Trif leaped at him and stroked, luckily, he was able to block his attack, however, he was left staggered.

The fire was close to him.

Horka attacked from the right while Trif made a spin to land his blow on his nape.

He evaded to the right and swung his sword toward the fire in the nick of time.

    “CANCEL!”

The spell disappeared and the Yal’s magic circle broke.

Shortly after, the laser was headed to him.

    “CANCEL!”

The laser hit Phize’s sword which caused him to get pushed back near the end of the ring.

“What happened… why didn’t it cancel?” he wondered.

Horka charged Phize with a downright attack.

Phize rolled away and rose back up. He ran to the center and Trif followed him.

“Yal, I’ll rest for now,” Oltrin told Yal.

Yal cast a spell at Phize’s direction, “BLISTERING BLAST!”

A red laser came out from Yal’s magic circle.

    “CANCEL!”

Yet again, his magic circle broke into pieces with his spell disappearing into the thin air.

    “The magic disappeared…”

He came to a sudden discernment, “SIR! I THINK HE’S RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISAPPEARANCE OF YOUR EXPLOSION MAGIC!”

    “What?” Trif wondered.

Right when Trif was close to Phize, he backed away. He ran to Yal.

He whispered, “What is the meaning of this?”

“Boss, whenever my magic approaches him, whenever it gets near, my magic circle breaks. I think he may have Spell Intercept.”

He further analyzed, “What? But I didn’t hear him sa-”

    He came to a conclusion.

“Yal, this guy might be more dangerous than we thought, I think he may be someone who uses Incantationless Magic but is trying to lower our guard by not using it.”

“This guy might become troublesome…” he perceived.

    Horka bolted to Phize.

“HORKA!” Trif yelled out to him.

He went back to Trif and they chatted. He was whispering to him.

“What are they thinking?” Phize wondered.

“We will overwhelm with attacks, we will keep alternating and end with the same blow, and you should follow my lead.”

    “Got it,” Horka obeyed.

“I’ll let Yal distract him with his magic.”

    “How about his Spell Intercept?”

“That’s why he’ll be using very very weak magic.”

Trif charged Phize with Horka backing him up.

    Phize went for him.

Both of them direct their attacks to the right, resulting in swords clashing, echoing the sounds of wood. Horka came out from behind and used a left attack from behind. He redirected his sword to Horka and their swords clashed.

    Trif attacked his legs.

Phize jumped to avoid this attack. Upon jumping, Horka used a downward thrust, with Phize blocking it only a few seconds on impact.

Trif used an attack to the left.

He was able to block the attack.

    Yal chanted, “BALLPOINT!”

“This is weak magic, let’s see you waste your mana on this,” Yal thought.

    “MAGIC!” Phize noticed.

He concentrated on the magic spell approaching him.

    “CANCEL!”

He attacked in the direction of the spell.

The red weak laser spell disappeared along and the magic circle broke into pieces.

Trif released an uppercut, he was able to block this too, but it caused Phize to stagger which launched his grip on the sword too high in the air.

    “HORKA! NOW!” Trif shouted out.

Horka attacked to the left while Trif attacked to the right.

Phize forced himself to retract his sword to block their attacks, but the combined force causes him to be pushed back quite a distance.

    He was panting furiously.

“I made a big mistake. Why did I decide to fight them offensively? I thought Trif’s lackeys were bad but in fact, they’re on my level. I have to carefully decide what to do next, or else, I’ll end up continuously getting beaten instead.”
