    Tara stared at Phize.

She thought, “I don’t exactly know what happened but 2 of them against a child is surely an advantage on our side, what were they thinking?”

She peered at her lone subordinate ready to take Phize on. She approached him and stopped him from rushing mindlessly.

“Stop, I’ll take him on with you, Thash,” she told him.

    “Thanks, leader.”

Phize thought to himself, “Hm, so these two are my opponents? Great. This’ll be a perfect chance to practice my skills on.”

She darted to him and went for a pierce.

Phize blocked this attack with the shield from his left hand.

Thash went to his left and went for a pierce to his head.

    Phize ducked and retreated.

“I guess, I should try not to underestimate them,” he perceived.

    .

On the other hand, on Trif’s battlefield, the two men he threw stood up in a hurry and rose their swords.

“Ragel, I need you to cooperate with me,” the first man said to the other.

“Pio, I got you,” the other answered.

Trif grunted, “Ah, what a pain. It’s only now, that you two choose to coordinate your attacks? You two really lack the experience.”

“Shut up, kid. We’ll slice you up in no time,” Pio allegedly replied.

“Oh? Gotten quite aggressive, eh? Too bad, I’d be putting your worthless honor to shame,” Trif responded.

    He dropped his sword.

He explained, “Let’s make things even, then. I use my hands, and you two fight me with your swords. Sound fair, does it not?”

“Your arrogance will be your downfall,” Ragel retorted.

“That’s where you are wrong. It’s at my mercy where I get to have more fun,” he returned to them with a smirk.

He continued, “Because killing worthless scum right away, wouldn’t be entertaining.”

Both of the men ran at him with Pio in the lead.

Pio let out a downward slash, but he sidestepped to the left.

Ragel attacked to the northeast, yet Trif only retreated.

“FIGHT US, YOU COWARD!” Ragel retorted.

    “If you say so.”

Ragel ran at him and went for a riposte.

He spun around him and when he reached his back, he pushed him from the back of his head and dunked him to the ground. He did it in such a forceful way, that the ground cracked.

He rose up and faced Pio.

Pio swung with a downward slash.

He examined the direction of Pio’s sword. When the sword was about to come in contact with him, he set aside the sword with his left fist, misaligning it.

He punched Pio in the face and he went flying.

“WHAT WERE YOU SAYING, YOU PUNKS?! CARE TO REPEAT THAT AGAIN?” Trif shouted.

    Now on, Lili’s battlefield.

The blindness spell wore off and the two men stared at each other. They then stared at their opponent, Lili.

    “Jin,” one of them spoke.

    The other man nodded, “Mito.”

“Well, I’m in a predicament,” she proclaimed.

    Jin cast a spell, “FIREBALL!”

A magic circle formed, a fireball shot out of it, and it headed in her direction.

    She chanted, “ROCK WALL!”

The sector of rock in front of her rose and blocked the spell.

Mito ran at her and took a peek from the opposite side of the newly formed wall.

    She chanted, “Fatigue.”

Mito felt weak and dropped to his knees.

He pondered, “What… happened? I feel weak all over my body, but I’m not tired or anything.”

    Lili ran to Jin.

“MITO? WHAT HAPPENED OVER THERE?” Jin asked.

    “JIN! PROTECT YOURSELF!” Mito yelled.

She cast a spell, “Create Wooden Sword.”

A magic circle formed and a wooden sword landed on her right hand.

    She aimed for Jin’s head.

He blocked it with his iron sword.

Even so, he staggered despite having the better sword.

“I’ll just try a little experiment with my newfound abilities. Excuse me,” she cleared her throat, “MANA DRAIN!”

She touched him with her left hand.

Once in contact, Jin yelled out in pain, “GAHHHHHHHHHH!”

He fell to his knees and dropped his iron sword.

“You got a lot of mana if I do say so myself,” she commented.

    Mito ran from behind.

“GET OFF OF HIM!” he screamed.

She noticed this and jumped back right away.

“Sheesh, no need to get so angry,” she replied.

    Mito took care of Jin.

    On Hazel’s battlefield…

She held her shield and sword while the two men were whispering to each other.

“Flitz, do you understand the plan?” one of them asked the other.

    “Sure thing, Bolt.”

    Bolt charged at her.

He held his sword up high.

    He chanted, “TELEPORT!”

He appeared behind her and swung his iron sword.

She turned around and blocked the attack.

    Flitz cast a spell, “WIND!”

A magic circle formed on his left hand and wind came blowing out of it. He ran with his left hand turned to his back, making him accelerate towards her.

He went for a riposte but Hazel deflected the attack to the top.

Bolt retracted his sword and went to her right.

He went for the same attack but before he could, the area of rock beneath him rose and hit his chin.

    Flitz chanted, “EXPLOSION!”

Hazel held her shield up and an explosion occurred before her which pushed her. The force was too strong for her to take, eventually sending her off flying, the same went for Flitz, but Bolt was behind the now-demolished rock wall.

Bolt tried to find her and from examining the surroundings, he saw her lying on the ground a few meters away.

He ran to her. Once Bolt was close to her, he chanted, “STRIK-”

She interrupted with her own spell, “NOW!”

Rocks from around Bolt went toward him, he could do nothing but watch as he got enveloped in the rocky structure.

Once the first layer of rock was done, she put on more and more layers.

“That should keep him busy,” she stated.

She saw Flitz lying on the ground.

    “Perfect.”

    Finally, back to Phize’s end.

Tara advised her subordinate, “Thash, listen to me, I will attack first, then you attack next. If I get hurt, you heal me. Got it?”

    “Received it well, leader!”

“Is it really necessary to plan out in front of me?” Phize queried.

They disregarded him and they stared at him preparing for battle.

Tara ran at him first and Thash followed.

    “ENFORCE OBJECT!”

    Her iron sword glowed yellow.

    Clang.

    Their swords came in contact.

    She backed off.

Thash came from behind and went with a follow-up on the strike.

Phize blocked the attack with his shield.

“PLEASE DO SOME SPELLS, NOT SOME PHYSICAL ATTACKS!” he pleaded to them in his mind.

He dropped his bronze sword and cast a spell, “FIRE!”

Thash dodged to the left while Tara dodged to the right.

When Tara landed on the ground, she cast a spell, “BULLET SHOT!”

A magic circle formed from her right hand.

    Phize said to himself, “CANCEL!”

Her magic circle broke into pieces.

“W-What happened to my spell?” she asked.

“Did I mess up the spell casting?” she pondered.

Thash cast his own spell, “ICE SHARDS!”

A magic circle formed on his left hand.

Phize said to himself another time, “CANCEL!”

His magic circle broke into pieces.

Thash reported to her, “Leader, mine broke to-”

He punched him with his right hand.

“DON’T TALK ABOUT YOUR PLAN IN FRONT OF ME!” he advised.
