Vol. 7 Ch. 15
by ameron-werschruxPio was on the ground unconscious.
Ragel dropped his sword.
“I won’t stand up for this. If you’ll fight me without a sword, then so would I,” he proclaimed.
“Such poor choice of words,” Trif stated.
He bolted to Ragel. He released his fist, but Ragel blocked it with his elbows.
“ACK!!!”
Ragel felt intense pain in his elbows. He continued punching him. Ragel was stuck in a defensive position and blocked all of them with his elbows.
Crack.
His ulna had been fractured.
His defense fell apart, dropping both of his arms.
Right when Trif was about to give another blow to the head, Ragel glanced beyond him, then his feet were stuck to the ground.
“What?”
“Shadow Bind,” Pio chanted.
A dark shadow came from Pio and it reached up until Trif.
He struggled to break free from the spell.
Pio nodded to Ragel, and so he grabbed his sword with his left arm.
He slowly took hold of the sword with his right arm and he lifted it.
Trif kept trying to break free, but he couldn’t.
Ragel declared, “This… is what you get.”
He swung his sword aimed at his neck.
…
..
.
But no head flew.
“W-Wha?”
Trif grabbed the sword with his left hand, and it started bleeding as soon as he managed to get ahold of its blade. Ragel tried to pull the blade, but he wouldn’t budge.
Ragel kept on trying to recover his sword but then, Trif’s grasp of the sword got stronger and more firm.
“I can’t hold on… much longer…” Pio thought.
Pio fell to the ground and the spell ended, freeing Trif.
When Trif felt that he had been freed, he stood upright still holding the iron sword. Then suddenly his grasp increased even more, and the iron was starting to bend.
“L-LET GO!” Ragel panicked.
Crack.
Not long after, the iron sword broke into pieces.
The display of such strength made Ragel shiver in fear and drop the rest of his sword in awe.
Trif slowly walked to him. He grabbed his collar and pulled him close to his face.
He spoke, “Listen here. If I ever see you again, in these places…”
Ragel was sweating unnervingly.
“I’LL KILL YOU.”
He pushed him aside and left.
Ragel fell to the floor and continued shivering.
In the end, he fell unconscious from extreme anxiety.
…
..
.
Moving on to Lili’s fight.
She stood in front of Mito and Jin.
“So, how are we gonna play this out? Just me constantly beating the crap outta you two?” she queried.
Both men stood up and directed their arms at themselves.
Jin chanted, “Speed.”
Simultaneously, Mito chanted, “Strength.”
“Interesting. Let me play a turn then.”
She cast a spell, “Barrier Magic: Healing.”
A large semi-sphere formed around them, it had a radius of 20m.
The semi-sphere was colored white, though it was mostly translucent.
“What is this?” Jin asked.
She grinned, “Why don’t you find out?”
Jin and Mito raised their swords and ran to her.
Mito attacked first and she blocked his attack.
“My, he’s quite stronger, as expected. But this isn’t enough to give me a hard time, though I don’t think I’ll be able to deflect his attacks,” she perceived.
Jin went around and stroked her from behind.
She chanted, “WIND!”
She pushed herself to the west using her left hand, dodging Jin’s attack.
Jin wasted no second and ran to her, he stroked two times, and she was able to block both of them.
Mito came after with a follow-up.
Jin attacked again.
She blocked the attack, but the second attack was aimed at her face.
She backed her face, but Jin’s sword caught on scratching her cheek.
Her cheek bled, but it rapidly healed, disappearing right in front of their eyes.
“So that’s how it is,” Mito stated.
“Do you like it?” she asked them without a single worry.
“No, not at all,” he replied.
“If the barrier heals you, then doesn’t that mean that we would heal too since we are inside the barrier?” Jin hypothesized.
“Not necessarily. Here’s a thing about this spell, I can choose who I can include in its effects or not,” she answered.
Mito and Jin whispered to each other.
They didn’t take long, and once they finished their short chat, both of them proceeded with their onslaught and ran at her with Mito at the lead.
He released a downward slash and Lili blocked it with her wooden sword.
Jin went for her legs, but she backed off.
Mito pushed Jin and he ran towards her.
Jin slashed with his sword and it hit her arm.
“Tch.”
She bled, but the injury wasn’t big and it started to heal right away.
Jin charged at her and made continuous attacks, knowing this was an opening.
Clash. Clash. Clash.
Her sword was starting to deteriorate as it took on more blows.
He managed to wear her down, so he backed down and Mito continued the blitz of attacks.
His every blow of him pushed her back further.
Clash. Clash. Clash.
He kept attacking her until he managed to kick her out of the range of the barrier.
“So that’s what they were planning,” she perceived.
Clash. Snap.
Her wooden sword finally snapped.
“Geez, not now,” she thought perturbed.
Mito was becoming sluggish by the second, however, he still released a strike before her.
She was caught off-guard, but she was able to cast a spell.
She hurriedly chanted, “CREATE ROCK!”
A medium-sized rock formed above him.
Right as he hit Lili through her in the middle of her body, the rock fell to his head rendering him unconscious.
She touched her injuries with her left arm.
“Ow.”
She peered at Mito.
“I should bury his sword,” she figured.
A better idea came to her head, “Just a second, I can bury him instead, and steal his iron sword. What a great idea.”
She directed her hand at him.
She cast a spell, “Rock Formation: Encase.”
The rock beneath him started to surround him and bury him inside the ground.
Jin ran to save him.
“WAIT!”
He had rested from earlier.
He yelled, “MITO!!!”
He was too late to even reach him.
This made him furious, he screamed to her, “YOU’LL PAY FOR THAT!”
She cast a spell, “Heal.”
Her injuries had recovered.
He dashed to her and he grabbed Mito’s iron sword.
With the two swords, he began aiming mindlessly at her.
Though this was very dumb, she could not get close to him, because of the unpredictable direction his swords were taking.
She retreated.
“What in the world is he doing?” she wondered.
Then he snapped back to his senses with his aggressive fighting style.
He darted to her and shortened their distance almost instantaneously.
She panicked, “CRAP!”
She chanted, “CREATE WOODEN SWORD!”
A magic circle formed from her right hand and the wooden sword appeared. She grabbed it and managed to block the iron sword on his right. But then he stabbed her in the abdomen with his left sword.
“GAH!”
He tried to lift it to split her into two halves, but she kicked him to prevent it.
The kick made him pull out the sword.
He continued this way of fighting, where she blocked the right sword and his left sword attacked her body. She couldn’t do anything since the Speed spell was still in effect, making him faster than her in every aspect.
Her cheeks had been scratched, her shoulder was stabbed, and her arms were filled with scratches.
“Damn it, when will the spell lose its effect?” she pondered.
He screamed out angrily as he let out another attack, “AHHHHHHH!”
She defended against the right sword, but then he stabbed her leg.
“GYAH!”
Jin prepared to behead her.
…
..
.
Within her mind, everything suddenly slowed down before her, then she felt rage, she felt the blood heating up and coursing through her veins.
She stared at him and he froze.
“What? LET ME FREE! I’M SO CLOSE!” he shouted.
He peered into her eyes and the sight before his eyes made him shiver, but he couldn’t even budge.
Her eyes had glowed red and she walked before him.
She ordered him, “Drop everything you have.”
He dropped his swords.
“Why am I following this girl’s orders? W-Why am I shivering? I-I’m n-not scared of her,” he wondered.
He diverted his eyes away from her.
She ordered him, “Look at me.”
His eyes forcefully looked at her and he was filled with fear.
She held his left hand and crushed it right in front of him.
Crack.
He yelled in pain, “GYAAAAAAAAAH!”
She then looked at his left chest.
She pierced through his left chest and took out his heart.
For a quick second, he saw his heart being pulled from him. He couldn’t even react in time, because without even noticing, he lost all strength, yet she held him, he was wheezing, and his life left him in a jiffy.
She dropped him to the floor.
Blood spread in her surroundings.
