1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m Ameron Werschrux, a young 16-year old guy, who lives in the Philippines.

2. What do you do? Are you a writer, reader, or artist?

I do a lot of things, I play games, watch youtube and anime, I do a lot of fun things! I’m an aspiring writer and a reader, despite being a writer for 2 years now, only a few months ago, I began to take it seriously, and I’ve gotten far now, I like reading hard-bound books, I usually have a hard time focusing on reading online books, aside from manga. I plan to be an artist in the near future, right now, I’m not really that great, for now, I’ll concentrate on writing, once I do, I’ll try to do art, just a possibility though…

    3. What is it like being a creator?

It’s honestly very exciting, never would I have expected to be a writer, yet here I am. The path of a writer can be very challenging, thinking up scenarios, thinking up fight scenes, and keeping track of their developments. It’s not easy so to say, but when you see the characters you’ve created and the world around them, it’s just very exhilarating to build, with that, you just can’t give up, you have to give these characters the ending they deserve as give them a wonderous world to explore in. I’m motivated to expand their universe and have people share their thoughts about it, it’s heartfelt.

      4. Can you tell us anything about your work or what you like to do?

Hm, my work is named Programmer in Another World right? Despite its name, being a programmer in another world isn’t all that it is about. I want people to expect it’s another type of novel where it has a single good trick and it’s over, no… I want complexity, I made sure to make a unique power system, valuable lessons that aren’t delivered in a cringey way, villains who have a backstory, and a main character who is more than just a programmer. About the things I like, nothing too much, I like solving math problems, I like thinking, and I like in-depth shows.

        5. Anything you want to say to the community?

I love the community, it’s a very fun and supportive one that I want to interact with them. As an introvert, this means a lot. Come visit Audertist for a calm and lovely community

          1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi! My name is Sarah but you can call me Arthy/Aeirana, I’m 26 and I’m from Scotland! ❤️

          2. What do you do? Are you a writer, reader, or artist?

I am a reader and writer! I do draw, but I would not consider myself an artist by any means. Currently I am not reading many novels on WN as I have many books to get through in my TBR list and also my main focus right now is writing.

          3. What is it like being a creator?

So far being a creator on a platform such as WN has been really fun. Before uploading my story, I went through a massive slump with writing. It’s what motivates me to upload my story. Posting my story has really reignited my passion for the art and motivated me to keep writing. I’ve also met some amazing people and learned many things from other creators and for that, I am forever grateful. My story is relatively new, so I can’t say I am reaping many rewards at the moment, but I am excited for the future!

          4. Can you tell us anything about your work or what you like to do?

I currently work full time in the finance sector, so my schedule can be hectic and I have limited time to enjoy my hobbies. But, such is life. I do currently have many hobbies other than writing! I also love reading! I used to average around 4 books a month, but due to now writing on WN, that has decreased exponentially. I’m a huge gamer and also occasionally draw.

          5. Anything you want to say to the community?

In all honesty, I didn’t expect to find or be a part of a community such as this. When I first started on WN, I was doing this purely to force myself to write. But, now that I’ve met so many wonderful creators who have helped and guided me through this journey, I can honestly say, out of all other communities I’ve been a part of that this server is by far the most accepting. It is filled with kindhearted and like-minded creators who look out for one another. Everyone is wonderful and I love you all. I look forward to getting to know everyone better!

          1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you began writing?
I am a software engineer by trade, but I started writing in August of 2021 (~9 months ago) out of inspiration. I watch anime so my inspiration was the original source material of anime (light novels/manga).

            2. At what point did you consider yourself a writer?
I started considering myself a writer once the first volume of my series was completed. Though I’m still learning all the time and love getting feedback from others.

            3. How do you develop your plot and characters?
I try to develop my plot all at once (as much as I can) so I can avoid plotholes. At least for the overarching storyline and progression of main events. However, I often find myself making up the fine details of arcs and major events on the spot. I keep the world (the politics, topography, relationships) in my head at all times to make sure what I just wrote makes sense and doesn’t introduce discrepancies in the story.

            4. What was your favorite part about the self-publishing process? Then what was the least, if you have one?
My favorite part of the self-publishing process was coordinating with my illustrators (one for the cover and another for the story illustrations). Seeing scenes come to life and characters looking how I imagined them in the story is the most fulfilling thing for me.

            5. What part of your book was the hardest part to write?
I’ve found different things hard across the 3 volumes of my story, but focusing on the one that’s published… I’d have to say fixing a whole arc that two of my beta readers found boring and a bit painful to get through. They said the villains should be cranked up a notch as they were too soft and the story was not impactful here. I made it my personal mission to rewrite and make it as interesting as I had planned it to be in the beginning. And I think my efforts were successful in the end.

            6. Which of your characters do you relate to the most and why?
I relate to the main character. I tried to make him as human as possible (keeping in mind his personality traits, his history, daily habits, and motivations) while also keeping open the potential for growth and discovery in the new world. The main character is a slobbish NEET who grew too comfortable in his daily routine of playing games and browsing memes after dropping ot out of school. I think that is something that can happen to anybody if they’re not careful. That makes him relatable to many people.

            7. What would you want to tell other writers interested in Self-Publishing and those who have yet to write a full book?
Go for it is the main thing. If you want to do it, then do it. Here are a few tips. Write the whole thing in Microsoft Word with chapter headings and automatically indented tabs with the Paragraph tool. Then use Kindle Create software and it will be almost perfectly formatted automatically. Another tip is: do not cheap out on the cover and make the first chapter as interesting as you can. On the Amazon page of your book, there is a “Look Inside” which will show your book cover and the first few pages of your book. That is when someone will decide to buy. But don’t take my word as fact because I’m only a 1-week-old author with 13 sales :P, so form your own opinions as well.

8.If you are planning a sequel, can you share with us a tiny bit about your plans for it?
Yes, I am planning a sequel. I have one volume out but the next release of my series is scheduled for June 25 of this year. And the one after that will be a few months later. Thanks for reading. Best of luck to other authors and writers.
