Thousands of years ago, supernaturals lived among the world. Their species were known as The Dralia.
The Dralian citizens lived in harmony using their unique abilities to shape a sustainable way of living for their kind. There was no government, save for the Drailains who possessed divine powers. Such powers guided the Dralian and protected them.
As society progressed, the keepers of the divine foresaw a great evil to come . They warned the Dralians that their powers were no longer needed for this world and that to prevent the evil they should all begin a mundane way of living. This struck controversy in the Dralians and as time stretched a divide was clear.
Most Dralians followed the divine and concealed their powers resulting in weaker generations. Their supernatural genes fading due to non-use. Those who didn’t follow the divine were isolated and shamed in society, being seen as inferior for not suppressing their powers.
Eventually, the tension became unbearable and for the sake of peace, the other half were banished.
Pained and disgusted by the weakness of their brethren, the banished half of the Dralians shed their former identities and became known as The Rekya.
For Centries forward the Rekyans loathed and terrorized the Dralians constantly reminding them of the power they rejected. Eventually, the Drailians would lose their ability to defend themselves and the horror of the Rekya would become too much to bare.
Together the divine declared war on Rekyans and with all the force they had left, defeated the Rekyans, leaving the rest of the Drailia to live on as planned. To protect the remainder of their kind as the Dralia outlived their supernatural abilities, the divine declared the that once first generation of completely powerless were born, the Dralia were to be renamed in case the Rekya were to ever return.
That generation became known….
As Humans…..
